ESRN REPORTMay 18, 2026

**Jp Scheiderer Storms Through Volusia Field in Hard Charger Performance** Jp Scheiderer came into Round 1 with something to prove, and he answered the call in emphatic fashion. Starting ninth on the grid, Scheiderer methodically worked his way forward through the Volusia Speedway Park dirt surface, making calculated passes and capitalizing on opportunities as they presented themselves. By the closing stages, he had muscled his way to the front and controlled the final 18 laps to secure the feature win. It was a complete turnaround from qualifying, where Jeremy Christensen set the pole position. The heat races played out as expected with Matthew Mateer and Andy Patton each securing their respective heats, but it was in the consolation race where Scheiderer made his statement — punching his ticket to the feature and positioning himself perfectly for what would become a dominant late-race drive. The dirt at Volusia proved raceable throughout the night, and Scheiderer took full advantage. His climb from ninth to first was methodical but relentless, the kind of performance that sets the tone early in a series. Kyle Standley and Andy Patton rounded out the podium, but this night belonged entirely to the hard charger who refused to let starting position define his outcome.
